"Customers are always quick to complain when things aren’t
going right but very rarely do we acknowledge the effort made when
things go really well. I want to take this opportunity to commend
Glenn and Derek for stepping up to the challenge recently.
"Edscha Niagara had a problem recently; this issue caused a major
contract from being signed off and was costing us money everyday
that the issue existed.
"Glenn and Derek were able to very quickly adjust some equipment so
that our new million dollar assembly line is now able to function as
needed.
"We really appreciate the extremely fast turn around that Glenn and
Derek put forward on resolving this problem.
"Thanks again."

FAQs on MMS
1. What is an ERP system?
ERP is an acronym which stands for "Enterprise Resource Planning".
ERP systems are integrated software applications that manage a
company's resources, covering such management functions as order
processing, manufacturing, engineering, finance, inventory/materials
management and more. All of these modules work together and share
up-to-date information to create a smoothly operating business
environment.
2. What basic functionality does MMS
Software offer?
Peartree's software modules cover all the necessary aspects of an
ERP system, with additional applications that competing packages
can't match. Peartree Software's ERP is fully integrated and not an
interfaced product, meaning that there is seamless interconnectivity
between all of our modules sharing a database.
3. Will we have to drastically change
the way we do business to use your software?
No. Peartree's software conforms to popular industry standards such
as APICS and AIAG, and follows GAAP for general business principles.
We can also configure each module separately to best fit your
existing business processes. Flexibility is our specialty!
4. My company requires a very specific
set of tools - what kind of customization does Peartree Software
offer? Peartree
Software's ERP suite is extremely customizable. We offer consulting
and in-depth analysis to help determine the best way to meet your
needs. If required, Peartree can provide custom programming or
interface add-ons to ensure our ERP software performs everything you
require.
5.
How long does an average software implementation take?
When asked this question, Sales Manager
Sam Harris typically responds with the analogy "How long is a piece
of string?" Just as string can assume a variety of lengths, our
implementation times vary depending on the complexity of your
solution. However, with full support and dedication from your
business, we can deploy our resources to meet your timelines.
6. Do you have a standardized
implementation plan?
We do, but our implementation is entirely flexible, meaning you can
have the modules most critical to your business installed and
up-and-running first.
7. Can we install Peartree Software on
multiple sites? Yes.
Depending on your requirements, Peartree can configure a solution
that will integrate multiple locations, companies or divisions into
a single ERP system.
8. Do we have to license Peartree's
entire software suite? What if we don't need certain modules?
No. Individual modules can be bundled to meet your current needs.
Additional modules can easily be added at a later date.
9. Can I convert data from our existing
business system to work with a new Peartree Software solution?
Yes, this is a common
request. We can provide conversion routines to map your information
to the Peartree database.
10. What type of system requirements do
Peartree Software modules require?
Our ERP suite will run on Windows, Unix and Linux platforms. While
hardware requirements vary depending on the type of deployment, the
IBM database architecture is included in your Peartree license.
11. How much will a Peartree Software
solution cost my company?
While pricing naturally varies depending on which modules you
require, we typically charge on a per-user basis. Our solutions are
comparable in functionality to "high-end" suites and come at a
fraction of the cost.
12. How do we know that Peartree
Software will be there to support us after the sale?
Longevity and a commitment to customer service – just ask for
testimonials from our customers. They will be pleased to provide
them. Peartree Software has been providing software solutions
for more than 15 years. Contrary to trends in most software
companies, the average length of service for our employees is 8.7
years. This is incredible, considering the average turnover of
employees in the software industry is 1.5 years. The commitment
shown by our staff reflects the commitment we have for our
customers. We know why we are in business – to service our
customers.
13. What kind of customer support do
you provide? Peartree
features impeccable customer support, from 24/7 emergency phone and
remote access availability to on-site consulting and customized
programming. Our service representatives are among the most
experienced in the industry.
14. What kind of training do you
provide? Peartree
offers training courses for all of its modules. Our trainers know
the software intimately and can work with company employees on-site,
in our education classroom, or through NetMeeting, WebEx or telephone. |
