Peartree Staff Bowl for Big Brothers, Big Sisters

bowl Big Brothers Big Sisters is an international organization that facilitates mentoring between young children and adult volunteers. It is well-known that children who lack a positive adult influence in their lives are more at risk of developing antisocial behaviour and becoming involved with gangs, drugs, and alcohol. Volunteer "Big Brothers" and "Big Sisters" are recruited to spend time with children who do not have such influences within their own immediate family.

On March 1st, the staff at Peartree Software along with their families raised $940 in support of this cause. Thanks are due to Sandy Bartscher for organizing this event, and to Peartree employees for their time and generous donations.
