Welcome Andy Slough, IT Consultant

Peartree Software is pleased to welcome the newest addition to our team, Andy Slough.  Andy joined us as our newest Customer Support IT Consultant in October.  He attended Mohawk College in Hamilton and graduated from the Computer Networking Program.  Andy will be working with our current customers on site to solve technical issues and create network solutions for all of our small business and dealership customers.

Everyone at Peartree is glad to have him on board;  Welcome Andy! 

Service Awards

Peartree Software would like to recognize the achievement and commitment of some of its dedicated employees with service awards.  This year we recognize President David Moser for recognition for his 5 years with Peartree.  IT Consultant Stephen Stewart is also recognized for his 5 outstanding years of service and dedication.  Also, senior business analyst John McIntyre receives an award for 5 years with Peartree Software.

A service award is granted to Sam Harris our manager of customer accounts for his amazing 15 year commitment to Peartree Software. 

Annual Glenbriar Golf Tournament

The 2005 Peartree Software Company Golf Tournament was held on Thursday September 22nd at the Waterloo Golf Academy.  Tee off was at 9 am with a lunch for all of the staff held after the 9 hole best ball game.  All the participants golfed in teams, with an overall tournament winner prize up for grabs.  There were also competitions for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive. 

The 2005 tournament winners were Bruce Williamson, Christine Padaric and Glenn Lyons (pictured right).

The golfer 'Closest to the Pin' for the game was Dana Kirby (pictured left).

The Longest Drive competition was won by Joel Ruetas (pictured right)

A special thanks to Christine Megaffin for arranging the tournament, trophies and awards luncheon.  It was a great day for all the golfers and a great team building experience for Peartree. 

Thanksgiving Food Drive

From September 28th until October 14th Peartree Software held our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive with donations going to the Waterloo Region Food Bank.  Our team goal was 450 pounds of food.  Thanks to some very generous donations we collected 464 pounds of non-perishable foodstuffs for the Food Bank.  A special thanks to Ken Breithaupt for donating the greatest number of pounds, 240.
