Peartree Software’s MMS software has successfully met the requirements for the Honda of America Manufacturing’s EDI software approval.  The Peartree Software Manufacturing Management System (MMS) Suite enhances user accessibility, functionality, and streamlines the sales, purchasing, distribution, engineering and financial functions for running a successful manufacturing operation.  The server-based software suite has demonstrated and exceeded the 2005 version of Honda’s EDI and Bar Code Label Implementation Requirements. 

The approval process for Honda’s EDI and Barcode testing includes many phases of development and approval including Honda personnel performing on-site testing of each product.   Accepted products must meet the strict requirements for Data Integration and Communication demanded by Honda from their software suppliers.

Peartree Software’s MMS suite for enterprise resource planning offers barcode creation, integrated creation and tracking of purchase orders, printable shipping and receiving documents, countless reports to track business financials, sales, and inventory.   It also offers inventory management, shop floor data tracking, production activity control and many other valuable features.  

Marwood Metal Customization Project Completed

Utilizing the web based development software 'Designbais' Peartree created a solution for Marwood's JIT Shipping Schedule requirements. Designbais is the development tool that Peartree has used for the  Dealership vertical and is actively using for the MMS web based product.

Marwood requested a more graphical interface and that all of the required information be available in one screen. The project consisted of three components;

1. Provide the ability to enter production parts to build and then determine if there is a planned blanket P.O. release outstanding for the purchased components. The operator has the ability to modify date/quantity requirements and firm up the order.

2. Generate a HARVEST JIT Shipping Schedule report by buyer for specific ship dates, reporting on firm orders only. This report can be printed and/or emailed to the suppliers contact.

3. Generate a HARVEST Expected Receipt Report for specific receipt dates.

The end result was a very functional, cosmetically pleasing interface that increased functionality and productivity to this area of their business. Peartree Software was happy to work with Marwood on this project to create the perfect solution for their purchasing and production needs.  Thanks to the programmers and staff ho made this new software update possible.
